04 / GOOD TO KNOW

Your questions.
Clear answers.

Who is this service for?

Adults who have already been assessed and supplied with prescribed CPAP, BiPAP or home NIV equipment, and would like practical education on its use and care. Family members and carers can also take part.

Can you change my pressures or treatment?

No. Therapeutic settings and treatment decisions stay with your prescribing clinical team. I can help you understand everyday equipment use, but I do not change prescribed settings, diagnose conditions or interpret diagnostic results.

Do you supply machines or masks?

No. Sessions use the equipment you have already received from your clinical team or supplier. This is an independent education service, with no equipment sales included.

Can my family or carer join?

Yes. Caregiver teaching can be included to help the people supporting you become familiar with equipment operation, cleaning and everyday routines.

How much does a session cost?

Prices are available on enquiry. The scope of the session and fee will be discussed before you agree to an appointment.

What if my question is clinical or urgent?

Contact your clinical team for symptoms, treatment concerns or changes to your prescription. This service does not provide urgent or emergency care.
